District Superior
Fr. Christophe LEGRIER
Each district is headed by a District Superior, who is appointed by the Superior General and his Council for a period of six years (terms may be renewed).
He is responsible for directing the apostolate in his region, in accordance with the Statutes and the spirit of the Society.
He is responsible for pastoral, spiritual and secular administration: priories, schools, retreat houses, publications, associations of the faithful, etc.
His main task is to look after the priestly communities working in his district.
Fr. Christophe Legrier is a French priest. He was appointed by the Superior General as the District Superior of Africa in August 2022. Prior to this appointment, he served mainly in Gabon.
